Fire breaks out in Pamposh colony, Noorbagh | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 17 (KNO): A major fire broke out in Pamposh Colony of Noorbagh area in Srinagar late Tuesday evening, damaging multiple residential houses, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the fire call was received at 10:35 PM, and the first team and Headquarters was dispatched within a minute. He said soon additional reinforcement was also sent at the spot due to the intensity of the fire. “As per initial inputs, three to four residential houses are involved in the blaze. Firefighting operations are underway,” he said. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses from the area said the locality is congested and the fire appears to be spreading rapidly, raising fears of further damage.
